    Hi I’m Steve Alderson and I am a director/veterinarian at Bayfair & Papamoa Vets. I am mostly based at Bayfair Vets but sometimes help out at Papamoa Vets. I graduated from Massey University in 1984 and I have been involved with small animal practice ever since.     Hi, I’m Marcus. I graduated from Massey in 2004 and worked in my home-town of Tauranga for several years before heading to the UK. What was planned as a two-year trip stretched out to ten, and now my wife and I have returned to the beautiful Bay to continue to raise our family of two young boys. We also brought with us our feline fur-baby Mischa who was hand-reared from a few days old.   Read More...

    Hi, I'm Dione. I graduated from Massey University in 2000 and started my career as a mixed animal vet in Levin where I worked for two years. The following two years was spent as a small animal vet in England where I enjoyed working and travelling as much as possible. I returned home in 2004 and was lucky enough to have the opportunity to move to the sunny Bay of Plenty. I worked here at Bayfair Vets from 2004 until I had my first son in 2011.     Hi, I'm Cherie. I graduated from Massey University in 2003. I spent two years in mixed practice in Te Awamutu before heading to the UK to work and travel for five years. I moved back to New Zealand with my husband Alex at the end of 2009 and worked for a year in New Plymouth before returning to my home town of Hamilton to work and start our family. After graduating, I worked at Bayfair and Papamoa Vets for four years before moving to Perth with my husband Ryan and our black Labrador Reef.     I'm Mel and I have had a lifelong passion for animals and their care. Growing up in rural Cambridge I have had an array of pets my entire life. You will find me mainly at our Bayfair Clinic. I graduated with a Certificate in Veterinary Nursing in 2010 and have been working in companion animal practice ever since. I have recently moved back to a lifestyle block and have quite a menagerie which includes 4 dogs, 3 cats, sheep, cows, chickens and a pig.   Read More...
