Kia Ora, My name is Trinette. I have been a part of the team at Bayfair & Papamoa Vets since graduating from BOP Polytechnic in 2003 with a National Certificate in Vet Nursing and Animal Care, however I use the QBE title (qualified by experience). I have recently become the Veterinary Nursing Manager at Bayfair Vets and enjoy working with our team. I find the work constantly stimulating with every day being different.
My particular interests as a Vet Nurse lie in the support of both the pets and their owners. I enjoy the interaction with the clients and find this can be as rewarding as working with the pets themselves. I especially enjoy the surgical work and the nutritional aspects of the job. I have completed both online and paper book Nutritional Advocate courses as well as an extensive anaesthetic course online. I also enjoy attending continuing educational courses as often as possible. I recently completed a course and became a Fleaologist, so if you need help with your flea problems please feel free to come see me.
I have a teenage son Laymon who keeps me busy as teenagers do, and I enjoy spending time with him when possible. I own four beautiful cats/kittens - Loki an elderly Ragdoll, Inkie, Dusty and Romeo (or “Little Mo”) the recent addition to my furry babies, which funnily the last 3 are all black & white. Mo has a perfect heart shape on his right flank and is extremely mischievous. They are all very precious to me.
I have recently taken up Photography (some of you may have seen some of my Pet Portraits in the consult rooms at the Bayfair Vets). I bought myself an expensive camera last year and have started taking night classes to learn how to take the best pictures possible (work in progress).
I am proud to be a part of this devoted and dedicated team and look forward to meeting you and your pets whenever you visit our clinic.
